Valentine's day is that time of the year in which we tell people how much we care/love them ( but of course, we do this because we have forgotten to say it during an entire year). It's interesting how many try to find a date just for one night, go for an expensive dinner possibly to get something out of it (if you know what I mean), and go nuts with the gifts. A very superficial holiday huh?
But wait...What? What am I talking about?
Valentine's is the most beautiful time of the year. You get to feel love and all the crappy shit attention provides. But let's face the facts. The only reason there's a valentine's day is because some crappy boyfriend forgot his anniversary and came up with this great bullshit that his girlfriend believed. If you care for someone tell them how much you do everytime you can!
As a high school student I've understood that senior year and relationships don't mix, so as a good advice I dare to say: forget about valentine's day, enjoy every single day and try your best to make those who surround you know how much you care for them.
I have this special friend that is a very peculiar person, and to whom this blog is dedicated, that was willing to know my perspective regarding this awesome holiday. I hope that person understands, as well as all of you readers, that valentine's a cliche.
p.s. would you be my valentine's ;) HAHA jk :)
